- SOL: VA-261-11-RP-0275 Due: June 10, 2011 (est'd) Request for Proposal (RFP) - Architectural/Engineering Consultant to work with artists for creating art for the new Building #520 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The consultant's responsibilities will include ensuring that the design of the art is complementary to and is consistent with the design intent of Bldg. 520. The consultant will also integrate the art pieces into the construction drawings of Bldg. 520. The intent therefore is to sole source this award to the AE firm which designed Bldg. 520 since only they would have the insight to properly provide for art integration into this building, which is still under construction as of this writing. The NAICS code is 711510 size standard of $7.0 million applies. Product Service code of T001 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about June 1, 2011. This is a one time procurement, delivery is requested as soon as possible. Electronic solicitation may be accessed at no cost at www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendment issued against this solicitation will also be available from the same URL addresses. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Price includes all parts and labor to repair any failure due to a manufacturer or installation defect; and one site visit during the warranty period for service or repair. Quotations shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial quotations will be rejected. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date.
