Description
The 87th Contracting Squadron Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ is performing market research to determine potential sources for the below requirement. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice or to an award a contract. This is a market survey for informational purposes only. The potential requirement requires the contractor to operate, maintain and repair the Dix Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS), a tertiary treatment facility, the contractor will be required to provide all labor, parts, chemicals, test, computers, reports, equipment, vehicles, and fuel necessary to operate the WWTS, the 25 acre Land Application Site (LAS), and the Tactical Training Base Septic System (TTBSS). The equipment to be maintained and repaired includes, but is not limited to: manholes, forced mains, lift stations, basins, buildings, equipment, valves, pumps, piping, generators, motors, conveyors electrical components, instruments and gauges. The Contractor is also responsible for pest management, grass cutting and snow removal in and around the facility. Land Application Site. The contractor shall maintain and operate the Beneficial Waste Reuse System that is used to irrigate the golf course. The contractor shall maintain and operate all system components and piping mains, and perform monitoring testing and all required reporting. The contractor shall maintain and operate the TTBSS. The TTBSS has designed capacity of 96,000 gallon per day. When it becomes operational, the contractor shall maintain and operate all system components and perform monitoring, testing and all required reporting. Any interested firm should submit a written capability statement to include their experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of a wastewater treatment system, land application site, and tactical training base septic system. In the capabilities statement, interested contractors should provide their size status for NAICS 221320 and whether or not they are a certified HUBZone, Section 8(a), women-owned, small disadvantaged, and/or service disabled-veteran owned business. Capability statements shall not exceed six pages.
