Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Network 21, Network Contracting will be issuing a Request for Proposals for Project Number 640-11-192P; Project Title: Relocate Existing Utilities for Defenders Lodge at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Scope of Work includes all labor, supervision, administration, tools, materials, equipment, general construction to relocate the existing main water supply line and construct a new pump house and its accessories, including the relocation of the existing backflow preventers, electrical power supply and gas line. Construct new dedicated patient parking lot. Installation of a new sanitary sewer line extension and manhole with intermediate clean outs, new electrical power supply lines, new communications cables, gas line, new domestic water line and new fire sprinkler supply line as required by the specifications, drawings and contract documents. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220, Size Standard is $33.5 Million. Project Magnitude is $2,000,000 -$5,000,000. The Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for award of a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. This RFP will utilize Best-Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, Source Selection Process. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, in accordance with Public Law 109-461. Effective 10/1/10, the apparent successful offeror must apply for and have received verification status from the Center of Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving award. Interested firms shall submit by email only, the following information: confirmation that your firm can perform under NAICS code 236220, DUNS number, and, ability to perform the work described sent to tracy.marasco@va.gov by close of business May 13th 2011.
