- Solicitation# HQ0013-11-T-0006, Various Cisco Network Equipment and one year of maintenance support. Brand name justification for the use of Cisco Network Equipment. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is issuing the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) as a total small business set aside for the purchase of Cisco routers, switches, supporting components, and one year of maintenance support. The Cisco network equipment and maintenance is being procured in support of the Defense Security Assistance Development Center (DSADC) in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. To ensure that the Defense Security Assistance Development Center (DSADC) meets various IT security requirements and to assist with gaining re-certification of the DSADC LAN accreditation, Cisco network routers and switches were selected as the best fit for the DSADC network environment. It was determined that the Cisco equipment can meet the needs of recent Information Assurance compliance standards and the standards in the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). The item descriptions of the Cisco hardware and the required maintenance support are outlined in the attached RFQ. A Brand name J&A is also attached.
