Description
This is a Sources Sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The 6th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential catering services during a military exercise at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Bldg 2003, 5629 SR Hwy 16W, Starke, FL 32091. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and does not bind the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov as available. Sources for this acquisition are currently being sought under NAICS codes 722320, Caterers, IAW FAR 19.15, under Section 8(m), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its set-aside decision. The contractor shall provide qualified and trained personnel and supervision including all necessary equipment to provide food service, and catering during a military exercise at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC), Bldg 2003, 5629 SR Hwy 16W, Starke, FL 32091. The exercise shall take place 21-30 June 2011 at CBJTC and the contractor shall provide 3 hot meals a day: (Dining Hours: Breakfast 0600 to 0800 (6 am to 8 am), Lunch 1200 to 1400 (12 pm to 2 pm), Dinner 1800 to 2000 (6 pm to 8 pm) for approximately 230 personnel per meal-the first day will start with lunch meal. Government will furnish a Dining Facility (DFAC). The DFAC has dining tables, chairs, running water, electrical, and a sink system inside for washing dishes. All other food preparation equipment, serving equipment, hot cold boxes, dry storage containers and food refrigeration equipment must be provided by the contractor. The DFAC is merely a building and does not have a fully functioning kitchen. Space will be given outside the DFAC for contractor equipment. Contractor is responsible for daily upkeep of the DFAC provided. All meals are expected to be prepared fresh on site each day. The contractor shall ensure food preparation and serving adheres to all local and federal safety and health code requirements, accommodate specific nutritional requirements including vegetarian options if required, provide meals to be served buffet style unless other wise specified; provide set-up, breakdown, and clean-up of catering and catering stages areas. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief statement of current capability and sample menu and letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide the following information: 1) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; 2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed three) to include names, points of contact, phone numbers, value and type of contract, period of performance, and brief description; and 3) information telling us about your company and why you think you can perform this service. Respondents are asked to limit submissions to 5 pages or less, or the minimum number of pages necessary to address the requirements specified in this announcement. Any information provided is voluntary. The sources sought is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
