- NOTICE TO OFFEROR; FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS RFP EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE RFP CLOSING DATE. The 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price contract to provide all services, plant, labor, materials, design, drafting and equipment necessary to meet all requirements in connection with Project NKAK 10-1087 Repair/Install Facility Lighting Upgrades Multiple Buildings. The Purpose of this project is to complete the recommended "Implementation" actions in the "AMC Comprehensive Energy Audits Little Rock AFB" insofar as they pertain to modifications to the lighting in the following buildings: 222, 250, 266, 282, 335, 340, 350, 356, 362, 430, 432, 450, 536, 550, 827, 842, 940, 950, 952, 956, 980, 1080, 1230, 1231, 1250, 1255, and 1992. This project is to Repair/Install Facility Lighting Upgrades Multiple Buildings. Project includes providing design services as described in the Design-Build Statement of Work to correct/upgrade lighting in multiple buildings to meet current energy conservation standards. Little Rock AFB Electrical Design Standards shall be adhered too. Project includes re-lamping, de-lamping, changing types of fixtures and adding occupancy sensors to lighting systems. The firm is responsible for locating all utilities in the area of construction, and for accommodating or modifying them, as required for the construction of this project. The firm is responsible for removal of existing features associated with this project. Civil/ Structural work shall be limited to that which is required for demolition of existing and installation of new lighting systems. Construction project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Total Performance Period for Design/ Construction is 411 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed This procurement is being issued as a Competitive Service Disabled Veteran, Design Build. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. This office proposes to post an RFP# FA4460-11-R-0007 to the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about 30 May 2011. Once the solicitation is issued, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Contract award will be determined using the Source Selection procedures in FAR Part 15. All Contractors shall be ORCA registered (http://orca.bpn.gov). All contractors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a contractor ineligible for award. Please acknowledge all requirements in proposals. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. No response to this notice is necessary. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
