- Description
- The United States Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Aberdeen Maryland, 21005 intends to procure software development and software maintenance efforts for the Command Post of the Future (CPOF) System. The Government anticipates a two (2) year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract software development and software maintenance efforts in support of the CPOF System. The CPOF System provides situational awareness and collaborative software tools to support decision-making, planning, rehearsal, and execution management from Corps to Battalions. The CPOF System contains the CoMotion software which is an advanced collaboration and data visualization framework that provides a user-composable workspace, near-real-time data sharing/collaboration, and the drag-and-drop data visualization capabilities of the framework. Data and visualizations in the system have been developed in a way that enables data to be dropped on different visualizations in the user interface and displayed in a way relevant to that visualization. CPOF is used extensively in support of Overseas Contingency Operations (OCOs) with over 6,000 fielded client installations worldwide. Additionally, CPOF is being used by the Marine Corps in OCOs and has become part of their Combat Operation Center (COC) baseline. CPOF has become the commander's primary command and control application, used for real-time collaboration as well as providing the Common Operational Picture (COP). This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
