- Description
- The statement of work for the FMSG-Managerial and Technical Support Contractor (SC1) has been attached. The respective individual statements of work for task orders T0001 and T0002, will be provided with the solicitation publication. This notice is a synopsis notice posted IAW FAR 5.203(a) which states, "An agency must transmit a notice of proposed action to the GPE. All publicizing and response times are calculated based on the date of publication. The publication date is the date the notice appears on the GPE. The notice must be published at least 15 days before issuance of a solicitation, or a proposed contract action..." IAW FAR 5.201(c), "The primary purposes of the notice are to improve small business access to acquisition information and enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities." The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will be posting a solicitation (RFP) to acquire the services of an 8(a) Small Business Contractor to perform the services of an FMSG-Managerial & Technical Support Contractor (SC1). One IDIQ(indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity) contract will be awarded. The IDIQ will have a twelve month base period of performance and four each twelve-month option periods of performance, each option is to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Task orders will be issued under the IDIQ to accomplish specific statements of work, in support of CMS-OFM-FMSG Program Office projects. Within the solicitation to be issued, the requirements for two subordinate task orders will be immediately described. Task Order T0001 will be work to support HIGLAS and other FMSG systems. Task Order T0002 will be to support the HITECH registration and incentive-entitlemnt database system. each task order will have a twelve-month period of performance with unique statements of work and deliverables. Task Order T0002 is funded with American Reinvention and Reinvestment Act money, so IAW ARRA legislative requirements, an announcement has been posted for the required three days. A Request for Information and Sources Sought notice was published during the month of August 2010, under notice no. CMS-2010-A100779, for the purposes of ascertaining if sufficient businesses holding 8(a) status had the capability and interest to perform this work.
