Description

The USDA, Forest Service, Kootenai National Forest has a requirement to repair and maintain the paved surface on Bear Creek Road, NFSR #278. The project will consist of an 1 1/2 inch thick full width asphalt overlay. The base item is for 600 tons of asphalt overlay. The overlay will begin at the end of a recent overlay that ended at about milepost 0.8 on Bear Creek Road #278. Three options have been included for 100 tons, 200 tons and 300 tons of asphalt overlay. All, some or none of the options may be awarded. Project location: From Libby proceed south on US Hwy 2 to the junction of US Hwy 2 and Bear Creek Road #278, approximately 7 miles. Turn right on Bear Creek Road #278 and proceed to approximately 0.8 miles which is the beginning of the project. This project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $150,000. In order to be considered for award the successful offeror shall have up-to-date registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database, have completed and up-to-date online representations and certifications ( www.orca.gov ), and be a SBA certified Hub Zone firm.
