Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an Order in support of FMS under exercised option year two (II) of contract N00019-09-D-0005. The aforementioned contract was awarded on 29 May 2009 to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona for repair and post production services for the sustainment of the High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM). Raytheon will be required to repair, modify, calibrate, test, certify and/or evaluate HARM missiles, missile sections, assemblies, subassemblies and related equipment and provide related technical data for the U.S. Navy, Air Force and FMS customers. This contract was issued on a sole-source basis to Raytheon Missile Systems (successor to Texas Instruments), the sole designer, developer, and producer of the HARM missile and its associated equipment. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. This synopsis is published for information purposes only (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Raytheon Missile Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the HARM Missile, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the government's requirement.
