- SPECIFICATION SOLICITATION HSCG80-11-Q-PF8GU8 USCGC ZEPHYR, USCGC SHAMAL, USCGC TORNADO DOCKSIDE REPAIRS Solicitation HSCG80-11-Q-PF8GU8 for Dockside Repairs to the USCGC ZEPHYR, USCGC SHAMAL and USCGC TORNADO. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000 (REF FAR 36.204) for definitive items. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-49. The applicable NAICS code is 336611. Size Standard is 1,000. For the calculations of annual receipts and number of employees, see parts 121.104 and 121.106 in SBA Small Business Size Regulation,http://sba.gov/regulations/121/. This acquisition is for the procurement of dockside repairs including 1 work items/CLINS. The performance period is from July 5, 2011 through July 30, 2011. This solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Programs For Certain Commercial Items. The Coast Guard intends to award a fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. Work shall commence on or about July 5, 2011. The Government shall award a contract resulting from this solicitation to a responsive, responsible contractor whose written quote is considered most advantageous to the Government, both in price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers proposals and are in descending order of importance: 1) Past Performance and, 2) Price. Factors 1-2 will be applied to determine the best value to the Government. Past Performance is significantly more important than price. All correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Quotes (RFQ) Number HSCG80-11-Q-PF8GU8. The closing date for this solicitation is on 17 May 2011, 3:00 P.M. EST. Faxed, mailed and e-mailed quotes will be accepted. E-mailed quotes may be sent to Douglas G. Landau at douglas.g.landau@uscg.mil. All contractors are responsible for verifying the receipt of their quote. The anticipated award date is June 5, 2011 This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. QUESTIONS AND REQUEST FOR DRAWINGS: The deadline to request drawings or ask questions regarding this solicitation is May 12, 2011. After this date no further requests will be accepted. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33.
