Description
Description of the work: Supply and deliver unleaded gasoline and diesel for fuel tanks at Chiricahua National Monument, Fort Bowie National Historic Site, and Coronado National Memorial. Location: Deliveries shall be made within the park boundary of the locations in Cochise County, Arizona, as specified in the delivery orders: Coronado National Memorial, 4101 E. Montezuma Canyon Road, Hereford, AZ 85616; Chiricahua National Monument, near 12856 E. Rhyolite Creek Road, approximately 38 miles East of Willcox, Arizona 85643; and Fort Bowie National Historic Site, near 3203 South Old Fort Bowie Road, approximately 12 miles South of Bowie, Arizona 85605. Solicitation dates: The solicitation will be issued and available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 05/11/11. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted. The Solicitation Number for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) is P11PS11173. Responses to the Request for Quotation will be due no later than 5:00 PM on 05/17/11. The estimated date for the award will be the week of 05/23/11. Period of performance dates: The period of performance is estimated to begin on 06/01/11, and final completion will be no later than 05/31/16, depending on the options exercised by the government. Contract structure: The Government contemplates award of a Single Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation. The IDIQ award will have one base year, and four option years. Delivery Orders will be placed with one successful contractor throughout the life of the contract, with no further competition at the Delivery Order level, regardless of amount ordered. Award will be made on an "all or nothing" basis, meaning that the contractor must quote and provide fuel for all locations covered by this contract. The NAICS code for this project is 424720, and the small business size standard is not to exceed 500 employees. This procurement has no set-aside, but the National Park Service encourages the participation of small businesses, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, and women-owned business enterprises. In addition to pricing information, contractors must respond with the required supplemental information as shown in the solicitation. Responses to the Request for Quotation will only be accepted electronically by email to Steve_Shatz@nps.gov. All responses must be received by no later than 5:00 PM on 05/17/11. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) at the following internet site in order to participate: http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are required to submit representations and certifications online at http://orca.bpn.gov in order to be eligible to receive an award.
