- ITEM 0001: NSN 4130012828788KV, Charging Unit, Cooling System, is used for supplying the particular cooling needs of the LANTRIN Mobility Shelter Set (LMSS) and associated test systems. The Requirement is for the repair of the Cooling Charging Unit, NSN 4130012828788KV, Part# 717801884-0011 with a BEQ of 1-10 ea. The requirement also includes data to include CAVAF reporting and GIDEP. Also included are 4 Option Periods. Option I is valid for 365 days, BEQ 1-10 each; Option II is valid 730 days, BEQ 1-10 each; Option III is valid 1095 days, BEQ 1-10 each; and Option IV is valid 1460 days, BEQ 1-10 each. Materials: Various. DELIVERY - ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for Repaired Unit: SW3119 due 60 calendar days ARO. Delivery of options is 60 days after exercise of option. Delivery of Data is IAW DD1423s which will be released with the solicitation. Government does not own the data/drawings. The approximate RFP issue date will be 25 MAY 2011; quotes are due 24 June 2011. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. This is a Sole Source requirement with limited sources, Ellis & Watts International, Inc and Industrial Controls, Inc. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All questions regarding the RFP and /or the data must be submitted in writing to Desura.Gates@robins.af.mil with copy to Sonia.Lizotte@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Anticipated award date is 28 June 2011. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(12)(ii) - Trade Agreements - One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
