This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Each event will be separated into sections. Event 1: (W90N0J10320101) Location: Crowne Plaza Dublin 600 Metro Place North Dublin, OH 43017 Period of Performance: 23 July: 0800-2300 24 July: 0800-1300 20 August: 0800-1700 Children Per Age Group (23 July): 0-5: (6) 6-12: (7) 13-17: (5) Children Per Age Group (24 July): 0-5: (3) 6-12: (2) 13-17: (1) Children Per Age Group (20 August): 0-5: (7) 6-12: (7) 13-17: (6) Event 2: (W90N0J10270101) Location: Quail Hollow Resort 11080 Concord Hambden Road Painesville, OH 44077 Period of Performance: 13 August: 0800-2300 14 August: 0800-1300 17 September: 0800-2300 18 September: 0800-1300 Children Per Age Group (13 August): 0-5: (14) 6-12: (9) 13-17: (5) Children Per Age Group (14 August): 0-5: (14) 6-12: (9) 13-17: (5) Children Per Age Group (17 September): 0-5: (13) 6-12: (12) 13-17: (7) Children Per Age Group (18 September): 0-5: (8) 6-12: (7) 13-17: (2) Event 3: (W90N0J11230100) Location: TBD Cleveland OH, SW Period of Performance: 26 June: 0800-1700 Children Per Age Group (26 June): 0-5: (23) 6-12: (14) 13-17: (10) Event 4: (W90N0J11100100) Location: Crowne Plaza Dublin 600 Metro Place North Dublin, OH 43017 Period of Performance: 25 June: 0800-1700 Children Per Age Group (25 June): 0-5: (24) 6-12: (15) 13-17: (10) Scope of Work: 1) Caregivers (contractor) must be located at event location on the dates and times specified above. 2) For children ages 0-5, there must be a ratio of not greater than 5 children to 1 caregiver; children ages 6-12, 6 children to 1 caregiver; children ages 13-17, 8 children to 1 caregiver. 3) Contractor must indicate equipment necessary on initial proposal of services that is to be provided to them by our program staff. 4) Contractor must provide on-site point of contact that will be attending the event, no later than 7 days prior to event date. 5) Contractor must provide all necessary certifications for each employee (at a minimum state background checks). Contractor must provide a list of each employee working the event and the date of their most current background check. 6) Contractor must hold adequate liability insurance. 7) Contractor to provide age-appropriate activities for children as well as help facilitate the 4-hour activity session led by the Ohio National Guard State Youth Program. 8) Contractor must bring necessary supplies, such as blankets, changing stations, toys, games, etc. and is responsible for transporting materials to the event location. 9) Contractor must include company safety and child accountability procedures. Contractor must establish check-in / check-out procedures and supply written documentation of each child in attendance. Documentation of child attendance must be provided to the YRRP Plans Officer and/or the Yellow Ribbon Support Specialist for Childcare Services no later than 7 days after the event. 10) Contractor vendor must provide child-friendly snacks available during the extent of the event. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Any award resulting from this solicitation will include DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Section 1008 of the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2001 requires any claims for payments (invoices) under DoD contract to be submitted in electronic form. Wide Area Workflow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement. Use of the basic system is at no cost to the contractor. Contractors must complete vendor training, which is also available at no cost, at https://wawftraining.eb.mil. Prior to submitting invoices in the production system, contractors must register for an account at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
