- The Government intends to place two firm-fixed price orders with ShotSpotter, Inc., 1060 Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043-1881. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requires the following services:(1) the relocation of two ShotSpotter systems to include the de-installation and shipping, site survey, consumables (clamps, cables, etc), sensor installation & electrical, IT/Server-Workstation Re-configuration, Live fire/calibration and site permissions services. (2) Maintenance and Support services for two ShotSpotter systems. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). the applicable NAICS Code is 517919 and the small business size standard is 25.0 M. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition is available upon request. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received not later than May 17, 2011 1p.m. EDT by sending an e-mail to the Primary Point of Contact. All interested parties must be registered inthe Central contracting Registration (CCR) database. This notice is for informational purposes only. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation to include the relocation services specified above and the capabilities to provide the maintenance/support services. Included shall be documenation from the original equipment manufacturer authorizing the company to perform the services. Such qualifications shall be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
