The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with Coherent, Inc., 5100 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054 for: 1- VERDI V18 WATER RISER CHILLER Serial #: SDP.1063516.10244 1051758 REFURB, TESTED HEAD ASSY, V18 2- 1066370 Service Zone Charge, Zone A < 4 hours round trip (no flight) 3- 1060741 Verdi Field Repair Replacement Laser Head is manufactured by Coherent,Inc. is the only vendor to provide this refurbished item to include installation by a certified technician that will ensure compatibility. Based on NIST's recent market research, NIST has only identified the one source that can provide the required request Coherent, Inc., 5100 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
