Description
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) anticipates release of the RFP to procure Security Protective Force and Systems Services in support of the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), the Remote Sensing Laboratory on the northeast portion of Nellis Air Force Base, and the North Las Vegas Facility which includes A, B, and C Complexes and the Nevada Support Facility within the next 10 business days.The purpose of this special notice is to advise contractors of recently published documents on NSOPF webpage at: http://www.doeal.gov.Included in those documents are:(1) A draft of the PWS;(2) The current 2005. Rev. 10 SCA Wage Determination;(3) A blank copy of the Preproposal Conference - NNSS Site Visit Access Request Form;(4) A Map with directions to the Nevada Support Facility; and(5) DOE Clause L-1008 with Preproposal Conference Instructions.These documents are being provided in advance to facilitate the formulation of any questions contractors may have regarding tasks and functions associated with this requirement. Contractors are reminded to continue accessing the webpage for updates as they transpire. At the aforementioned webpage, scroll down to 'Major Contract Solicitations' and click on Security Protective Force and Systems Services for the NSO. Within the reading room under pertinent documents, you will find all recently published documents. Offerors are reminded that this requirement may experience further delays or be revised or cancelled at any time during the solicitation or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. Contractors may electronically submit the completed Site Tour Access Request form (1 per rep with a maximum of two reps per firm) and formulated questions to Mr. Larry P. Veltman at LVeltman@doeal.gov or Mr. Robert Friedrichs at friedrichs.nv.doe.gov by 4:00 PM MST, 17 May 2011.
