- Description
- The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul (ROH)/Drydocking (DD) on the USNS GRASP (T-ARS 51). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence on or about 18 October 2011 for a period of ninty (90) days at the contractors facility. The area of consideration is the east coast. This is a full and open requirement. Major work items include: Machinery Control System Upgrade, Habitability Modification, Forward Boom Replacement, Tank Top Renewal, Various Steel Renewals, ABS Class Surveys including Tail Shaft and Rudder Surveys, Oily Water Separator Replacement, Plastics Waste Processor Upgrade, Switchboard Cleaning, Hull and Freeboard Preservation, Machinery Air Intake Renewals, High Pressure Air System Upgrade and Modification, Tank coating renewals, 40 Ton Boom Overhaul and Certification, Anchor Chain Preservation, Sea Valve Overhauls, Machinery Overhauls, GMDSS Certification, Hull Perimeter Lighting Installation, and CPP System Groom and Overhaul. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 30 May 2011 with an estimated closing date of 30 June 2011.
