- This is the second notice and is called the synopsis. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office plans to issue Solicitation IFBP03151100001 to Replace Vehicle Sallyport Gates at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Yazoo City, Mississippi. The successful contractor will be required to provide all materials, labor, equipment and supplies to replace two existing vehicle access gates with new gates, operators, overhead supports, associated columns, locks, keys, motors, etc. in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The period of performance for this project is 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 238990, with a small business size standard of $14.0 million. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced web-site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Any contractor interested in receiving a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. There are no tax exemptions. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a bid which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or about May 27, 2011 with an anticipated bid opening date of June 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. local Eastern time. The bid opening will be conducted in the front lobby of the Southeast Regional Office located at 3800 Camp Creek Parkway, SW, Building 2000, Atlanta, Georgia 30331.
