Description

The Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron (AETC CONS) is hereby giving notice of a solicitation to request proposals to provide Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) training aids to support the Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Training program located at Randolph AFB, TX. This is a synopsis for commercial off the shelf (COTS) commodities and is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The Government intends to award up to six Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer(s) is/are the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). There will be no more than one contract awarded for each of the six groups of products as listed in the RFP. It is anticipated the RFP will be released on or about 13 May 2012. The estimated period of performance is Date of award to 31 May 2012 with four one-year options. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326199 and the size standard is 500 Employees.
