Description
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for various Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization Construction Projects The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center- Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Yuma, Arizona, to execute a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for various Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization Construction projects. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business concerns. The assigned NAICS Code is 236220, "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction" with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. The MATOC is to be based on a general Statement of Work (SOW) further defined in individual Task Orders. The number of contracts that may be awarded under the MATOC shall not exceed five (5). The anticipated projects for this requirement will include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, demolition, roadwork, storm drainage, earthwork, welding, and other general construction. Projects awarded utilizing the MATOC will possibly stem from completed designs, partial designs, or as specified and will be accompanied by a SOW. DPW projects may also include some design-build projects. All anticipated projects demand high standards of quality and performance. All work performed shall be in accordance with the industrial and commercial codes/standards. The capabilities required for this acquisition will be of the following general project categories: (1) Construction, repair and alteration of various facilities, (2) Minor construction and real property maintenance, remodel, and repair to include but not limited to the following: Foundation and Site Work, Concrete Construction, Masonry Construction, Metals, Carpentry, Thermal/Moisture Protection, Earthwork, Curtain walls, doors, windows, glass, Finished Materials, Fencing Communications, Elevators/Conveying Systems, Mechanical/ Electrical, Demolition and Removal, Roads/ Paving, and Painting. The period of performance for this requirement will consist of a base year and four option years with an ordering period not to exceed (5) years. MICC Center - Yuma Proving Ground anticipates issuing RFP W9124R-11-R-0003 on or about 31 May 2011. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained within the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract, http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. The RFP will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Questions in regard to the RFP must be submitted to the Point of Contact listed below; and may be submitted anonymously. All submissions should be clearly marked Question(s) for Yuma Proving Ground MATOC Construction W9124R-11-R-0003. All questions must be provided by 5:00PM MST on 13 June 2011. It is highly recommended that offerors identify their interest in responding to the anticipated RFP to the Point of Contact listed below no later than 5:00PM MST on 30 May 2011.
