Description
The complete Request for Offers (RFO) package with all applicable specifications and drawings is posted to the FAA Contract Opportunities site only. PURPOSE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed price construction contract to Reflash Leaking Windows and Carpet Replacement at the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Salt Lake City, Utah. II. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the project, in accordance with the contract clauses, specifications and drawings. Work under this project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Patch, repair and repainting of the interior gypsum wall board window surrounds, as well as replacing the window sills. 2) Replacement of approximately 11,100 square feet total of broadloom carpet with carpet tile on the 2nd floor of the Automation Wing. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Anticipated Notice to Proceed date is July 18, 2011. Complete the entire work ready for use not later than sixty (60) calendar days after the official notice to proceed date. SITE VISIT MANDATORY: (a) A one time offered MANDATORY site visit has been scheduled for this project on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM Mountain Time (MT). Contractors who would like to attend the site visit must submit an email to Blaise.Ungerman@faa.gov by 2:00 PM (PT) on May 17, 2011. SET A-SIDE: A tiered evaluation of offers will be utilized in this source selection. For additional details on the tiered evaluation process see Section M of the RFO. NAICS Code: 236220, 236210 the Small Business Administration Size Standard for this NAICS Code is $33.5 Million. Also, 238330 with A Size Standard of $14.0 Million. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $100,000 and $200,000. All Questions concerning this Request for Offer (RFO) is due no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Time (PT) on MAY 24, 2011. ALL PROPOSALS FOR THIS PROJECT ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM (PDT) on Wednesday JUNE 1, 2011. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
