Description
This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of the upcoming solicitation for wood grinding, yard waste grinding, and concrete crushing services in support of landfill operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, North Carolina. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562219 with a size standard of $12,500,000.00. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for HUBZone certified businesses. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period year and two, 1-year option periods in support of this requirement. The minimum guarantee will be $20,000.00. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 36 months. The Contractor may be required to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov/. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website. Only registered contractors will be notified by E-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. The solicitation will be available on or about 17 May 2011. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or about 16 June 2011. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
