- Description
- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, (MICC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) with intent to award a firm-fixed price 100% Small Business set-aside, contract for Tree Removal Services. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, equipment, and other items necessary to perform Tree Removal Services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) except where specified as Government furnished. Services will be at various locations on North and South Fort Polk, Peason Ridge Training Area, and Toledo Bend (Lake) Recreation Site (TBRS). The resulting contract will be for a 1 year base period of 06 June 2011 through 5 June 2012 and 2 one-year option periods if exercised. The applicable NAICS code is 561730. Solicitation will be issued on or about 13 May 2011 with offer due date on or about 2 June 2011. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available for view and download at: http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc in addition to ASFI as no paper copies will be issued. Email quotes are acceptable. Faxes are not authorized. Interested parties should review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code), be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and Online Certification and Representation Application (ORCA). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract. FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures will be used for this procurement. POC for this action is Kyle L.
