Description: This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Contracting webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for MK-666 Continuous Wave Illuminator, Narrow Band Noise Test Set used onboard US Navy ships and Foreign Military applications. Performance requirements, as well as test requirements for qualification and acceptance, are contained in WS-33336G and shall include development and testing of a Mod 3C First Article. It is anticipated the first production delivery to be on or before 30 APRIL 2013 and subsequent delivery will be specified in individual orders. Any source without a qualified design will be required to produce a First Article unit before beginning production. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure any supplies. CLIN 0051-CLIN 0061 “ (FMS “ Foreign Military Sales) Spare Parts for CWI NTS IAW Statement of Work and Spare List to be furnished by Government “ MOD 3, Variant(s) A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K - NTE $2,400,000 and to be negotiated at time of delivery order. CLIN 0062 - Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) A001 “ A023 IAW Statement of Work to be furnished by Government. The technical procurement package will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, located at http://www.ccr.gov and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the package. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. This will be a non-commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be available on or about 5/31/2011 at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation attachments will be available at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from NECO web site by clicking on the śSubmit Bid ť does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of offerors to download the RFP and submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered. Furthermore, each interested vendor shall monitor the FBO, NECO and Crane websites for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps; NECO and/or the Crane web site for amendments that may be issued to the solicitation.
