- Justification Doc Notice of Intent Sole Source Procurement, AG-7604-S-11-0059 Modular Communication Systems - Replacement Multiline Remote Control Dispatch Console Systems Plus Warranty and Maintenance Support for One Year The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a sole source purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the FAR 13.5 Test Program for Commercial Items with Modular Communications Systems (MODUCOM), a small business, for two new replacement multiline remote control dispatch console systems plus warranty and maintenance support for one year. These systems include control electronics, dispatch position PCs, touch screens and associated ancillary equipment in accordance with the Forest Service Dispatch Console Specifications (See justification specifications). This Notice of Intent is for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals; therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. See attached Justification and Approval and specifications for further information. All sources eligible to provide this supply must respond in writing no later than close of business on 14 June, 2011 0800am MST. Responses must be supported by clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the product and services outlined above and in accordance with the specifications attached. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. Formation must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Robert A. Hinton non, Forest Service Contracting, 101B Sun Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, or via email to rhinton@fs.fed.us. Written responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Forest Service will proceed with the sole source award.
