- DATE: 12 May 2011 Type Synopsis Requested: 1 P-Procurement 0 A-Award 0 R-Sources Sought 0 M-Modification --Type Modification 0 P-Procurement 0 A-Award 0 R-Sources Sought 0 N-Special Notice Supply or Services Classification Code: 8415 Subject of Synopsis: Police and Security Guard Uniforms including Tailoring IFB/RFP Number: F2F3191083A001 SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is for Police and Security Guard Uniforms including tailoring. A letter of intent was posted to FedBizzOps prior to this synopsis/scolicitation, which yielded potential offerors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 448110 with a size standard of $10,000,000; the SIC code is 5611. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are current accoring to Http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: CLIN QTY DESCRIPTION 01- 25 Southeastern SE3101 Long sleeve dress blue shirt. Dark navy blue with epqulets, military creases, badge tab, two-button cuff closures, pleated pockets and scalloped pocket flaps. 02- 50 Southeastern SE 3201 short sleeve dress blue shirt. Dark navy blue with epqulets, military creases, badge tab, pleated pockets and scalloped pocket flaps. 03- 75 Southeastern SE3001 pants. Dark navy blue, straight leg, no cuff or cargo pockets, Trousers will be fitted. 04- 26 Police/Guard patch affixed to the frontOutdoor Cap ODGL555 Standard Headgear will be dark navy blue baseball-type cap with respective half-size 05- 28 Propper PIF545238405 Utility Shirt long sleep. Rip stop cotton, dark navy utility uniform. 06- 28 Propper PIF520138405 Pants. Rip stop cotton, dark navy utility, matching the shirt. 07- 25 Fechheimer FH76220 Rain Jacket. Reversible, LAPD navy blue/black on one side/Fluorescent yellow on the other side, front zipper, waist length jacket with hood. 08- 25 Fechheimer FH78240 Reversible rain pants, LAPD navy blue/black on one side/Fluorescent yellow on the other side with front zipper. 09- 26 Horasesmall HS3350 waist length jacket. Dark navy with police/guard cap insigna to the front. 12- 25 Courtlandt CL13SS Leather belt will be 1 ½ to 2' wide, plain in design black leather with a conventional buckle. 13- 26 Weinbrenner WB834-6290 Black leather boot 6" side zip with plain toe. 14- 25 Corasir Clip on Necktie. Dark navy blue, without logo or design. 15- 25 Name Strip Patch. Cloth nametape containing last name only. The nametape height will be 1" tall with ¾" lettering and the width equivalent to the width of the right shirt pocket. Dark navy with silver/grey lettering. 16- 25 HWC HWNTC3 Necktie holder. Plain metal bar type, nickel finish without design or logo. 17- 26 Damascus DZ-8 Tempest all weather gloves. Black without logo or design. Gloves will not interfere with the use of a weapon. Water and wind resistant. Adjustable Velcro wrist closure. 18- 25 Smith and Warren medal security forces badge silver color medal with logo. 19- 26 Priemer Touser Belt Plain black nylon best for utility uniform wear will be 1 ½ to 2" wide to fit in trouser loops. All items are to be considered "or equal". All clothing shall be tailored to each guard AFTER receipt of items. Therefore, contractor must physically measure each guard and tailor uniforms to their specifications after delivery.
