Description
Request for Proposal - FA8601-11-R-0092; includes Specification 'RYHC Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) System Requirements'. THIS IS OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The solicitation number for this requirement is FA8601-11-R-0092. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51, 02 May 2011. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 334516 Size Standard: 500 Employees The ASC/PKO Operational Contracting Division, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) Cluster Tool System acquisition in accordance with the attached solicitation, which includes Specifications, "RYHC Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) System Requirements". IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: All prospective awardees are required to register at the Central Contractor's Registery (CCR) and to maintain active registration during the life of the contract. CCR can be accessed at https://www.bpn.gov. Any award resulting from this solicitation will include the clause at ASC/PKO G-001 Wide Area Workflow - Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) Electronic Invoicing and Receiving Report Instructions. Wide Area Workflow- Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement. Use of the basic system is at no cost to the contractor. Contractors must complete vendor training, which is also available at no cost at http://www.wawftraining.com. Prior to submitting invoices in the production system, contractors must register for an account at http://wawf.eb.mil/. In addition to registering in WAWF, the awardee must complete the electronic registration at https://orca.bpn.gov AND a completed hard copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items found in the SF 1449. For 52.212-3, complete paragraph b if ORCA records are on file; complete paragraphs c-o if ORCA records are not on file. Failure to submit all required documentation/information may result in a proposal being ineligible for award. In submitting a proposal, Offerors are agreeing to the terms and conditions as written in the entire solicitation. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions in full text may be accessed via the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
