- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract for Study on Volume, Osmoality & freezing performed on Lifor (Organ Preservation) for FDA compliance this company had developed and patented a solution to provide organs with nutrients, amino acids, growth factors salt and buffers that are needed to maintain the kidneys' metabolism while kidneys are being preserved for transplantation and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with LifeBlood Medical Inc. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) per FAR 6 302-1(c) The NAICS code for this action is 541712 all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For aditional information and to register in CCR, please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive and award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
