Description
THE TENTATIVE DATE FOR POSTING THIS SOLICITATION HAS CHANGED FROM 16 MAY 2011 TO 25 MAY 2011. SINCE THE SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED CLOSE TO THE SITE VISIT/PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE DATE, IT IS NECESSARY TO AMEND THIS NOTICE AND GIVE INTERESTED PARTIES THE CHANCE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THE SITE VISIT. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD NOTE THE INFORMATION BELOW AND REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH THE LISTED POINT OF CONTACT. An industry site visit is scheduled for 2 June 2011, and is subject to change pending operational and clearance requirements. This visit supports the acquisition and award of the USC II at Camp Bondsteel, near Ferizaj, Kosovo where current USAREUR Support Contract (USC) Project Management and Kosovo Task Orders services in support of US Army Europe are being performed. The Government will provide transportation from a specified meeting location in Kosovo the morning of June 02, 2011 to Camp Bondsteel, during the site visit, and back to the meeting location. Contractor representatives are responsible for their own transportation to/ from Kosovo and in and around Kosovo. Due to operational and host nation constraints and requirements of the Romania Task Order, there are no current provisions to conduct a site visit of US Army Europe locations in Romania. Detailed, specific requirements will be provided in technical exhibits and other specific task order questions can be handled during proposal and evaluation phases of the USC II. In order to obtain theater clearance and base access, the following information is required in this office no later than 2PM EST on Monday, 23 May 2011 (required to obtain clearance and site coordination): 1. Passport Number/Date/Place of Issue FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION OR LATE RESPONSES MAY RESULT IN A DISAPPROVAL OF THE REQUEST. Please contact Ms. Kathy Perry (POC info listed below) to receive the following attachments: Attachment 1 - Schedule of Events/Itinerary Attachment 2 - Visitor Information/Maps Attachment 3 - Visitor Request Form Please forward the requested information (including Attachment 3) by e-mail to the attention of Ms. Kathy Perry at kathy.j.perry@usace.army.mil. Additionally, any questions pertaining to the site visit or requested information may also be directed to Ms. Perry via e-mail or phone at (540) 665-4084. Participants may begin registering for this site visit/pre-proposal conference immediately and registration will end on 23 May 2011 at 2PM EST. The Government will not reimburse Offerors for any costs associated with participation in this site visit/pre-proposal conference. Offerors are not required to attend this site visit/conference in order to submit a proposal. Offerors are reminded to direct questions to the Contracting Officer who will be present during this site visit/conference. All questions asked during this site visit/pre-proposal conference shall be submitted to the Government in writing no later five days after the conclusion of the site visit/pre-proposal conference.
