- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure Software Maintenance renewal services for the i2 Analyst Notebook Software products. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above requirement to i2, Inc., 1430 Spring Hill Road, McLean, VA 22102. The Proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. All capability statements received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
