- The ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is Friday, May 17, 2011. Estimated Response Date: Friday, June 10, 2011 Description: Chemical Control of Noxious Weeds The objective of this project is to secure services for chemical control of noxious and invasive weeds on the Willamette, Siuslaw, and Umpqua National Forests. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supplies, material, equipment, labor, services, transportation (except those items listed as Government-Furnished), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications, which will be referenced in the solicitation. This proposed procurement listed herein is a Total Small Business Set-Aside per FAR 19.502-2(a). This project will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the services specified. Contract performance time will be identified on individual task orders. The Government intends to award up to three (3) Contracts resulting from this solicitation; the estimated start work date is June 20, 2011. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract format. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA system.
