- Description
- The Federal Integrated Product Team (FIPT) is seeking information from industryon approaches, products and/or standard modular solutions in a mobile vehicleplatform for integrated hardware and software designs to include openarchitecture Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelfcapabilities. The desired objective is to field a system that supports awireless and wired Internet Protocol (IP) architecture that allows for theprocessing of; secure and non-secure data processing, secure and non-securetelephony processing, radio frequency support, and secure and non-secure VideoTeleconferencing (VTC) on one ubiquitous backbone. The ubiquitous networkbackbone should be able to support multiple datapaths that provide seamless andtransparent alternate routing when the Primary, Alternate, Contingency, andEmergency (PACE) network routes are unavailable. The integrated communicationspackage should have the ability to rapidly integrate mature advanced technologyin focus areas identified in Section 2.0 and have the required accreditationsfrom the United States Government and the Department of Defense (DoD). Theintegrated communications package must be able to support the aforementionedrequirements and operate while On The Move (OTM) and At The Halt (ATH).
