Description
PTW New York Brand Name or Equal: Qty 2ea of the following items: 1) Quantity of 2, UNIDOS webline, item PTW T10021 or equal. 2) Quantity of 2, Radiation Protection ion chamber 50 l, item PTW T7262 or equal. 3) Quantity of 2, Radiation protection chamber cable 30m length, item PTW T7262/U10-30 or equal. 4) Quantity of 2, HV-supply power supply for ion chambers, item PTW T16036 or equal. Technical equivalency as per specification SP-391-004-48-Rev1. : Information for vendor purchase are provided. 1 Vendor Specification I. BSOIC system specifications and requirements (for vendor) • Stable for temperatures between 10оC and 40оC. • Stable response at humidity between 10% to 80%. • Stable in RF-rich environment. • A minimum cable length of 30 m between ion chamber and readout module. • Fail-safe. • Noise or spurious spikes above 0.01 mrem/h occurring maximal once a day, not exceeding 0.05 mrem/h. II. Ion chamber specifications and requirements (for vendor) • Sensitive enough for low-level gamma radiation measurements down to the natural photon radiation background. • Constructive volume of 5 liters filled with Argon gas at the pressure of 10 bar, resulting in an effective sensitive volume of 50 liters. • 1000 V nominal chamber voltage. • Max dose rate for ≥ 99 % saturation is 1 mSv/h (100 mrem/h). Max dose rate for ≥ 90 % saturation is 10 mSv/h (1000 mrem/h). • "Ambient dose equivalent" response within 10% for photon energies between 80 keV and 2 MeV. • Chamber wall of no more than 3.25 mm thick steel. III. Readout module requirement (for vendor) Readout module with interlock relay contacts, digital readouts connectors, and local display. 1. Electronics • Unit can be calibrated by SLAC. 2. Interlock relay • Two adjustable trip points: o High-dose (adjustable from 0.0 mrem/h to 1000 mrem/h). o Low-dose (adjustable from below natural background to 10 mrem/h). • Two "dry contact" outputs representing the four states: (i) healthy and powered on (ii) instantaneous radiation received by ion chamber is lower than low dose limit, (iii) instantaneous radiation received by ion chamber is greater than high dose limit, and (iv) power failure. 3. Digital readouts • RS-232 or equivalent port to query the instantaneous radiation dose received (in units of mrem/h) by ion chamber. The update rate of the dose value should be at least 1 Hz. • Values below 0 mrem/h are not suppressed. 4. Display • Display in the units of mrem/h or mrem. • Update frequency of display at least 1 Hz. • Local indication of trip status. • Values below 0 mrem/h are not suppressed.
