- This is a pre-solicitation notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a firm-fixed priced contract for a six month base period (01 Oct 11 - 31 Mar 12), and four 12 month option periods (01 Apr 12 - 31 Mar 16), to facilitate a personal services contract for one Surgical Nursing Assistant. Surgical services will be performed at Samaritan Medical Center and Carthage Area Hospital for Fort Drum New York. RN must hold status as an Allied Health Professional at Samaritan Medical Center and Carthage Area Hospital and possess current, unencumbered privileges to perform duties of first surgical assistant at these hospitals for orthopedics within fourteen working days after contract award. The contract RN shall also have the ability to apply for, and potential to be granted, privileges to assist with surgeries in various other specialties at the request of the COR. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ-11-R-0084. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business. The Solicitation will be posted for 30 days.
