- Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to ALFA LAVAL, Inc. 955 Mearns Rd, Warminster, PA the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is for a Lube Oil Purifier. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Interested firms shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 11:00 AM EST, on 20 May 2011, via facsimile or email.
