Description
The Marine Corps Logistics Base Contracting Department issues this sources sought synopsis for information on the requirement for Base infrastructure Cable Upgrade for MCLB Albany, Communication & Information Division. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government nor will the government pay for information solicited. The purpose of this service is to support the contract discrepancy report function within the Business Performance Office, Marine Corps Logistics Support, Albany, Georgia to include post-award Base infrastructure Cable Upgrade functions as stated in attached Statement of Work. All sources capable of providing these services are being sought. In addition to the information provided below, responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the size standard of $2.5 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517919. Sources with 8(a) status or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business should address their status in their responses. A firm fixed type contract is contemplated with a nine month contract period. No technical or solicitation document exists at this time. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm's capabilities in providing the required services. Contractor is required to provide larbor and materials to install 100 pairs of PE22 aerial copper cable from Pole P5-18 (Cable 7, pairs 501-600) and 12 strands of SM fiber from pole P5-11 (strands 1 12). Install infrastruture into the training room in bay 3 on the 2nd floor of the building. Provide all hardware to create a fully functional Telecommunication room (TR), to include a 4x8 sheet backboard, which will be places at the designated location. The backboards will be painted with 2 coats of Fire Resistant/Flame Retardant paint. All cables will be certified in accordance with EIA/TIA 568B Standards. Documentation shall include the required data fields in acccordance with TIA/EIA-606-A. PLEASE SEE STATEMENT OF WORK ATTACHMENT Please limit response to 25 pages. Phone calls will not be accepted.
