Description

The Cherry Point Satellite Contract Officer, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of the intent to award a sole source purchase order to Hexagon Metrology Inc. 250 Circuit Drive North Kingstown RI 02852, (Cage Code: 1WUK4) for maintenance of two (2) Laser Trackers, for a base period of one (1) year and two (2) option years, as required by the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. Hexagon Metrology is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the laser trackers and the proprietary developer of the operating software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
