- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division (AICD), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a sole source (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) to Instruments of Industry, Inc (IFI) located at 903 S Second St, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. The contractor shall provide repair/upgrade of two (2) amplifiers (Model M406, S/N 107-1183 and Model TCCX2500, S/N B120-0498). This includes replacement of tubes, touch screen controllers and driver modules. Labor includes the stripping, re-assemble, test and alignment of units. IFI is the manufacturer of the equipment in need of repair. Only IFI is authorized to repair this equipment and these instruments contain proprietary drawings, specifications and parts that are available and accessible only from IFI. All repairs/upgrades are to be completed within one month (30 calendar days) from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 2 June 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
