Description
Return Bid Sheet This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 325320: small business size standard is 500 employees. Product Information The intent of this contract is to purchase herbicides authorized in the 2006 Weed EIS on the Helena National Forest. Additional dollars may be forthcoming, increasing the desired quantities ordered. Therefore, bid quotes by product should be valid through August, 2011. No additional requests will be made after August 2011. All chemicals required under this project, such as herbicides, marking dye, and surfactants shall be made available. Certified Dealers must meet the Montana Department of Agriculture Dealer requirements, including packaging and shipping requirements. Herbicides compounds may be substituted for generic versions as long as the active ingredients represent the same formulations as the brand names. Examples of generic brands include but are not limited to 2,4-D, and Clopyralid. Marker dyes and surfactants also may be substituted for a generic version following the same criteria identified above. Shipments will be received in no less than two shipments, preferably in Early June and August. The second shipment will be ordered from the Forest with approximately 2 to 4 weeks advance notice. Shipments will be delivered to the Helena Ranger District, 2001 Poplar St., Helena, MT 59601. Quantities in liquid formulation shall be delivered in a 2.5 gallon container unless the remaining quantity is not equal to 2.5 gallons. Dry formulations shall be delivered in 1 to 2 lb. increments. Please identify your price per unit (Gal., Oz., & Lbs.) on Attached Bid Sheet. Additional Funds are anticipated for this purchase. If additional funds become available the contract will be modified to increase the number of chemicals needed and the award price for Gal. Lbs. and or Oz. will remain valid for modification price.
