Description

The Bay Pines VA Medical Centers in VISN 8 anticipates awarding a procurement for a School at Work (SAW) Program for employees in grades GS-01 thru GS-05 and equivalent wage grades to improve upward mobility, diversity, loyalty, talent, and patient care. Offeror's SAW Program must fit the VHA High Performance Development Model (HPDM) Competency Level One goal for continuous learning at VA. Offeror's shall prepare Medical Center employees ('Coaches') to facilitate the SAW Program at each medical facility. The Contractor shall work with the Coaches throughout the contract period of 12-months and provide all workplace education and e-learning instructional tools for eligible beneficiaries of the SAW Programs. The VA intends to establish a firm fixed price definite-quantity contract, based on the quantities agreed upon with the successful offeror. The Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 12.204. All proposals received on or before 4:00 PM, EST, May 31, 2011 will be considered by the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is on or before July 1, 2011.
