- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The contractor shall provide, at the contractor's facility, all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform laundry services for the Gene Taylor Community Based Outpatient Clinic located in Mount Vernon, Missouri. Services to include: pickup from soiled laundry storage at the clinic, transport, launder, dry, fold, and transport to clean laundry storage at the clinic, with the understanding that some of the items to be laundered may be contaminated by contagious disease; collections of soiled laundry shall be made after regular hours daily, Mon thru Fri, excluding federal holidays; all clean laundry items shall be returned to the clinic the following workday after pickup not later than 10:00am, excluding federal holidays. Solicitation to be available on or about May 27, 2011. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be submitted via email (laura.watts@va.gov). No electronic proposals will be accepted. Closing date for submission of quotes will be approximately 30 days from the issue date, 3:00pm central time.
