- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source ProcurementVendor: Meidcal Foundation for Study "Searcher"Transportation to Tern Island / Contract number F11PX03253 The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Portland Oregon intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1, other than full and open competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedure, for the acquisition of services for transportation pick-up of individuals on Tern Island in the Pacific Ocean. We have an immediate need to remove individuals on island by approx. 10 June 2011. Any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the USFWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 5/27/2011 by close of business to be considered.. Posting is very short or we will miss our availability to arrange transport. Responses to this posting must be submitted in writing via e-mail only. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
