- Aerial spraying (helicopter w/pilot) of Milestone on approximately 350 acres of Canada thistle between June 15 and July 15, 2011, with some flexibility outside of these days, time depended on when thistle flowers. Herbicide and surfactant will be provided by the refuge and transported to a staging area determined by the contractor. Contractor is responsible for avoiding herbicide drift to adjacent private properties. Herbicide application rates will be determined by the refuge. Prior to going to the refuge contact Marlin French 308-762-4893 Bid on a per acre bases. Transport to and from Refuge can be included as a separate line.
