It is anticipated that the contract will include a 2 year base period and four option periods to meet the following objectives. Objective 1: Concept of Cafeteria Operations - The overall Objective is to develop and implement a successful cafeteria operation based on DOJ RFK Main Building population size, existing cafeteria infrastructure and limitations as described in the RFP. Objective 4: Technology Utilization - The DOJ objective is to identify new and existing technologies available for electronically enhancing the food services provided by the cafeteria facility at the RFK Main Justice Building. The solicitation will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov, and is anticipated to be released on or about June 1, 2011. Amendments to the solicitation issued prior to the receipt of proposals will also be posted on www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible to monitor this site for access to the solicitation. All responsible sources meeting the eligibility requirements may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. It is highly recommended that, prior to submitting a proposal, all interested parties obtain a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number, register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and complete online representations and certifications in ORCA, the Online Representations and Certifications Application, as these requirements are mandatory for any firm selected for a contract award.
