- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911SG-11-T-0154 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) of 312113; size standard is 500. This solicitation is issued under FAR subpart 13.5, Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. One contract is anticipated to be awarded as a result of this RFQ. The period of performance will begin 1 Jun 2011. deliveries should be completed NLT 31 Oct 2011. MICC, Fort Bliss, Fort Bliss, TX is requesting a firm-fixed price quotation for the delivery of 20 lb bags of crushed/cubed ice to the Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA) warehouse to support troops for field use, as well as McGregor Range, Dona Ana and other base camps as needed. Per Army Regulation 40-657, the contractor must be Veterinary (VET) Approved by the Veterinary Command (VETCOM) for food service. The following are the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS), please provide quote in spaces provided: (CLIN 0001): DELIVERY OF 1,029,411 LBS (20 LB BAGS) OF CRUSHED/CUBED ICE TO WHSE 1109 TO SUPPORT TROOPS FOR FIELD USE. CUSTOMER WILL NOTIFY VENDOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE EXPECTED DELIVERY. ICE TO BE DELIVERED IN PALLET INCREMENTS. Cost for CLIN 0001 at $__________per LB. (CLIN 0002): DELIVERY OF 664,729 LBS (20 LB BAGS) OF CRUSHED/CUBED ICE TO THE TISA WAREHOUSE TO SUPPORT TROOPS FOR MCGREGOR RANGE, DONA ANA AND OTHER BASE CAMPS AS NEEDED. CUSTOMER WILL NOTIFY VENDOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE EXPECTED DELIVERY. ICE TO BE DELIVERED IN PALLET INCREMENTS. Cost for Clin 0002 at $__________per LB. The Government shall award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the RFQ, is most favorable to the Government based on price.
