- Brand Name Justification letter. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1581122A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-49 effective 24 Jan 2011; Defense DCN 20110518 effective 18 May 2011, and AFAC 2011-0421 effective 21 April 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 443120. The business size standard is $25.5m. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7435. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5734. Travis AFB has a requirement for 100 Slate (iPad 2) Devices with minimum 9.5 inch multi-touch color screen, 32 GB of storage, built in camera, capable of running iOS application and WiFi + AT&T 3G. Everything with quotes is new. Upon award of contract, the iPad 2 slate devices must delivered within 2-4 weeks. CLIN 0001-AA - Slate Device (iPad 2) with minimum 9.5 inch multi touch color screen, 32 GB of storage, built in camera, capable of running iOS application and WiFi + AT&T 3G. Everything with quotes is new. Upon award of contract the iPad 2 slate devices must be delivered within 2-4 weeks. 100 each. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none.
