- Price & Item Description Sheet Performance Work Statement COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M1G80350A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51 effective 1 April 2011. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 337215 with a 500 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote for list of items on Attachment 1 in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS). A site visit will be conducted on 26 May 2011 at 1000 (10:00AM) E.S.T. at 106 East Simpson Street Building 506, Joint Base Charleston (AFB), SC 29404. All contractors shall meet at the main Visitor Center on Dorchester Road, Joint Base Charleston (AFB) at 9:30AM to be signed onto Joint Base Charleston. Note: site visit is not mandatory but recommended; and all contractors familiar with the area are welcome to go straight to the site after confirming attendance. Contact, Kenya Hall, at 843-963-4492 NLT 9:00 AM E.S.T. 26 May 2011 with the names of all who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. (vi) Megamat Vertical Carousel and Installation at Joint Base Charleston (AFB), South Carolina. (See attached statement of work) (vii) Delivery must begin within 30 calendar days of award. FOB destination. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes.
