- 1.Network Contracting Activity 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide a Vicon Motion Capture System for the Human Motor Performance Laboratory. This notice is for planning purposes and a solicitation is not available at this time. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS Code 334510. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Components include: "MX-T40S Camera - 4.0 mega pixel resolution @515 frames per second, outdoor capture capable Qty 6 "MX-T20S Camera - 2.0 mega pixel resolution @ 690 frames per second, outdoor capture capable Qty 2 "T-series Near Infra Red (NIR) High Power Surface Mount Strobe, FOV to match lens selection Qty 8 "T-series upgrade to FOV package - optimize 30 degree FOV strobes for narrow FOV lenses Qty 4 "Lenses Qty 8 "MX Giganet Lab X [64 CH A/D] with BNC interface unit Qty 1 "25 meter T-Series cable Qty 8 "Nexus software dongle seats Qty 2 "1 year of "Complete" Serve Level Support Agreement Qty 1 " Basler Reference Video system - GigE camera (frame synched high speed video images) Qty 1 "Light-Duty tripods - max height: 1.78 m Qty 2 "Custom Speed-Rail mounting system - used with super clamps and pan/tilt heads Qty 20 feet "Super Clamp - (clamp to Speed-Rail or any mounting rail between 0.5" and 2" diameter) Qty 2 "Heavy-Duty Pan/Tilt heads Qty 8 "Light-Duty Pan/Tilt Head Qty 2 Federal Supply Schedule holders, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to respond. Responses must be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. EDT June 3, 2011. Responses should clearly state their ability to provide the system. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from their responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
