- Affadavit Form to be filled out and provided to Security Forces to obtain Eglin AFB access, required clearance. Statement of Work Summary for Solication FA282311R0008. Specifications for Solictation FA282311R0008. Solictation Package FA282311R0008, IDIQ Repair Replace Roofs Eglin AFB, Fl.. Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Repair and/or Replace Roofs Eglin AFB, FL. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 (Roofing Contractors) and the small business size standard of $14M. This acquisition is limited to 8(a) construction firms located in region IV as follows: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. All region IV eligible 8(a) Business Development Participants are to submit offers. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. Roofing projects include the following: providing all the labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to refurbish, repair and/or replace roofing systems on various facilities maintained and operated by the 96th Civil Engineering Group, Eglin AFB, FL on an as required basis. In general, the work includes construction of various roofing systems such as Shingles, Built-Up Roof Membrane (BUR), Metal Roof Panel, Coatings and Single-Ply Membrane. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB, FL Okaloosa and Walton Counties. The estimated magnitude of the future construction projects to be awarded is more than $10,000,000 with a one year Basic plus four One-Year option years combined. The contract total ceiling is not to exceed $25,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum is $2,000.00 for the life of the contract. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 11 Jul 2011. All interested contractors are encouraged to register on the Interested Vendors List on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration database and Online Representations and Certifications Application orca.bpn.gov database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for award.
